African photo safaris for the solo traveller

Solo travellers wanting to visit Africa and capture the beauty through photography can now save on their trip, thanks to Pangolin Photo.

Save US$100 per night at the new intimate property, Pangolin Khwai Camp, with a four day package now costing from US$1680 for a single use Meru style tent.

The deal includes three nights’ accommodation with full board and laundry, twice daily game drives (only four guests per vehicle), night drives, walking safaris and a Mokoro cruise, complimentary use of a DSLR Camera and telephoto lens, memory cards for our cameras as required, all transfers and all park, conservancy fees and tourism levies.

The new Meru-style tented property is located in the Okavango Delta ecosystem on one of the Northern fingers of the Delta on the Khwai Private Reserve, a 200,000ha private concession.

The Pangolin Khwai camp is located on a private concession and game drives can traverse across a huge area with the ability to off road at special sightings as well go on night drives. The Camp has four game viewers which take a maximum of four guests per vehicle. This allows plenty of room for photographers to store kit and get into a comfortable shooting position at sightings. There is a resident photo guide based at Khwai Camp to assist all guests with expert knowledge and advice.

For guests travelling without their own camera there are complimentary state of the art DSLRs and telephoto lenses available for use at The Pangolin Khwai Camp. The guides who operate the vehicles- which are all fitted with custom camera rests- are all experts in positioning to maximize each photographic opportunity for optimum light and anticipation of the animal’s behaviour.

This offer is valid for bookings made before December 31, 2017 and is for travel from 1 April until 15 June, 2018.

Internal charter flights from Kasane to Khwai and then on to Maun cost approximately US$400 per person and can be booked through Pangolin Photo Safaris.
